It was a vision of Mr. Debabrata Banerjee, veteran retired Professional to serve the growing need of Forensic Market of India back in 2000. In 2011, he had quit his Corporate career to start his practice and since then the firm has been serving numerous clients with primary focus to serve MSME sector of Indian Economy. In 2014, Mr. Somnath Paul had joined the firm as Managing Partner to gear the firm towards social cause and took up challenges for Gender Diversity, Marital Laws and Divorce wing of the firm. Soon the firm expanded under his aegis to Business Laws and Commercial Policy reviews of IT giants in Eastern India and gave oppurtunity to several internship opportunity to young professionals which was nascent concept at that time in Eastern India.
Soon the core committee was formed and the firm changed its name from Nandi & Bandopadhyay Associates to Nexus and Business Associates by the entry of another core team Mr. Nilav Nandi who worked on three wings Research, Workshops, and Forensic and AML Investigation in Insurance and Banking sector. We soon got Publishers Certificate post his joining on a widely reviewed Research paper. He is ISO 37001 trained and expert in labour, corporate, PMLA, POCA and customs laws and compliance with excellent skill in MS Excel . He is also Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner and a OB specialist handling Team Management issues.
We soon found partner in 2021, Sourav Das who will be working on various Forensic and AML projects of different IT companies including supporting Research wing of the firm. He is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified and ardently practices Pareto and Fish Bone Models in his work.
We currently have 5 interns working and supporting the firm. Its growing day by day with vision of sir. We are currently Micro enterprise as Certified by MSME and looking forward to support knowledge driven sector of India.
